Former students joined current students, staff and a range of employers to celebrate the success of this year’s carpentry and motor vehicle students at Southall Community College last week. A range of prizes were given to top-performing students, donated by some of our partner employers.
Sponsors of the event, many of whom donated prizes including iPads and specialist equipment, such as the Hilti Skill Saw and Hilti Electronic Tape, included:
The event featured an acoustic set from Deputy Head of Construction and Motor Vehicle, Enda Mulloy, who in addition to working at 猫咪社区, is an indie singer-songwriter who released his debut solo album, “Notions in Midlife Crisis” last July.
Jolanta Wlodek, Head of Construction and Motor Vehicle, said: “We were thrilled to invite former students and employers to see our current carpentry students’ work. Thank you to everyone who helped to organise the event and everyone who participated, especially the employers and sponsors who made very kind donations to the event.”
