Welcome to 猫咪社区! Starting college can be both exciting and challenging so we鈥檝e done our best to make it easy for you. This page contains information and resources which can help to support you before you start your course. You can also find the date and time when you should arrive for your first day at college.
Term starts on Thursday 5 September 2024 and teaching starts on Monday 9 September.
For most of our courses, induction will happen on either Thursday 5 September or Friday 6 September. You can find details of your induction (or alternative first day) for many of our courses at the bottom of the page.
If you were studying with us in 2023, and took part in Progression Enrolment in July 2024, please bring your learning agreement or last year’s ID card.

There are a range of bursaries and schemes to help support you financially whilst studying at college. These depend on your age, the course you are studying and your personal circumstances.

If you are aged 16-18 and enrolled on a Study Programme, you must complete a mandatory one-week work experience placement to help you gain the skills needed to work in your chosen industry. We encourage all students to start sourcing a placement as soon as possible – your dedicated Work Experience Advisor will support you throughout your course.
*Health and Social Care and Sport Coaching learners will need to apply for a DBS through the Work Experience team during induction week
Everyone has a responsibility to keep children, young people and vulnerable adults safe. If you have a safeguarding concern about yourself or another student, no matter what kind of help is needed, get in touch with the safeguarding team and we will support you however we can.
